Kathleen Amundson is a 25 year veteran of the entertainment industry and has served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the successful independent film companies Mutual Film Company (Tomb Raider, Saving Private Ryan), based at Paramount Pictures and New Regency Productions (JFK, Heat, Sommersby), based at Warner Bros. She has also held senior financial positions with The Disney Channel and New World Entertainment. In June 2000, Ms. Amundson founded VAD Films to provide consulting and advisory services to independent film production and distribution companies, as well as to equity investors in film projects. She began her career in the entertainment division of Price Waterhouse. She is a California CPA and holds an MBA from UCLA.
